Took us a while to get this shot, after all we did end up on the Moon!

I swore I would never do the token "kid" shot but I really, really, really like this shot a lot. The "kid" is my three year old, we went to Clark Planetarium and he started playing around in this landscape of the Moon, I thought it might work, hell it might bomb out but I don't care. I still can't figure you guys out. ;)

Not too much "expert" editing going on here. Let's see how it does.

Better, more consistent lighting would help allow more of a suspension of disbelief if you wanted to go for that. Right now it is from two very different directions

I love this idea but I feel that the lighting is so obviously another on the boy than on the backround. Had you had similar lighting on him (not very hard to duplicate if you look at the shadows of the moon truck and astronaut) and coloring this would have gotten a full point or two better from me so keep at this :) 6

Several things seem to be a little off in this one. The skin tones on the model are just a bit too redish/pinkish. (I hate skin tones myself...) The composition looks a litte awkward. The model isn't on a third line or centered but just a bit off from center. This may look more natural if he weren't looking out of the frame. I'm assuming that you placed him in this position to capture the moonbuggy in the shot. Turning him the other way may have helped...

...now this IS cheesy!!! If I weren't so lazy I would vote this as a depiction of existing artwork. 1

He needs to look like he's holding his breath more...

Nice idea. Perhaps you should have burnt the kid's shadow to his left instead of behind him; also, adjust his color/lighting to match the lunar background. Great use of the liberal editing rules!! (8)

Hmmm...I thought I saw some other people on the moon when I was taking my photos. Funny...good luck to ya!

Nice portrait. Just my opinion, but with expert rules in effect, I think a lot could have been done to not rely so heavily on the background photo to make your shot.

Nice idea, but pretty harsh lighting, no pun intended.
