my girlfriend came up with the idea, its my first self portrait.

i like it. If you could get closer so that the viewer knows that it is a battery, it would make a great commercial...billboard or something

omg, did u really flame up the battery? nice try which i havent atempted before.

but one thing about this photo is that, it is not really clear to viewers that the guy is actually holding a battery.

Cool shot. I like the light on the hair & face. B&W was definitely a good choice on this one. Good crop too. Back to bump you up to 7.

A photo with a message, eh...

I love the technical aspects of the shot, and even find the concept quite clever. Nevertheless, it somewhat troubles me that, were it not for the title of the challenge, I'd probably have no idea what you're smoking. I'm not sure just how you could have worked through this problem, but, irrespective, it's one that I see. Great job taking the picture, even if it is somewhat an oddity to try to rate.
