The light is at the right angle to make the shadows show the interesting texture of her skin. Great exposure; although primarily low key, this image has a wide range of tones. Very well done.

The really interesting shadows are the ones that show the texture and the lines of the skin.

Lovely photograph. The contrast between the wrinkles and the well manicured nails attracts my attention. I think this might have fit better in the grace challenge. The white outline created by the usm is a bit of a negative, imo.
