This is cool - the colors and detail and lighting are great.
I remember learning a while ago that you can make an egg stand up by using a little mound of salt at the base. That would be more subtle than the rubber bands.

What a great idea this is. If the man's face was sharp and better lit, this might be a ribbon contender. Great effort, though. 6.

SUPER idea. I'd love to see this with a very close crop to the action.

Nice! Creative! But please, whatever you do... don't tell me he's in his birthday suit! :)

8 for a great illusion, and those cute rubberbands.

great idea, let down a little by the focus, the egg is sharper than the young lad, DOF not quite deep enough, nicely lined up, and framed.

The lighting just doesn't match up. In the original photo of the person, the sunlight is a bit harsh. However, the eggshell and rubber bands have a softer light. Also, the horizon is not level...is this intentional?

clever image...not sure why you used the elastic bands as they seem out of place...the horizon is a little skewed

I like this picture, but it doesn't appear to follow the Basic Editing rules, I mean it appears to be two pictures, with the man added to the egg.

Hmmm, is that a printed background with the person on it? Nice colours and a crooked horizon on purpose? Clean and crisp shot

Oh how funny: I can see how this was done - perhaps if you had removed the back edge of the egg shell so that there weren't 2 layers of shell across the chest, it would have increased the illusion..?7

What a funny capture...like a Phoenix reborn and rising from the...ummmm...EGG?!!! Those rubberbands are priceless. I love the photo AND your sense of humor. 9. Edit: Bump to 10.

I'm not sure I like the rubber bands. I think this photo would be stronger without them. Good execution of the idea though.

Good lighting (though I think a cleaner/ brighter background would be stronger. The dirty orange/white feel doesn't quite work. Interesting choice of nesting materials!

Cool Idea and a good shot, the left arm needs to be a little higher.
