Thanks for all the comments. For those who asked what kind of dog he is, his name is Thor and we are told he is a Chow/Timberwolf cross. He adopted us so we don't know this for sure.

super shot with great focus. I like the dusting of snow in his/her coat and the alert expression, you can tell its fun to be in the snow

What a wonderful subject and location (with the snow) for this shot. Good detail in the dog, but you've not gotten the whites truly white as the snow looks beige. Just a little tweaking with B/W points or curves and this would move up substantially IMO. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Cool shot! I might have liked the dogs face tilted a little more toward the camera, but it's questionable.
