First time using Velvia vision, I have to say I liked using it, a nice why to add a bit of dynamic range. The image suffers from lack of detail and will probably get hammered for this. Anyway hope others enjoy it. Did a bit of dodge and burn on the reservoir, selective sharpening, added border and text after resizing.

Hello from the Critique Club,

You found a very lovely scene and did an exceptional job with the composition. Overall, the image appears to be dark, as mentioned in more than one of the comments you received. However, I believe it is an optical illusion of sorts, as people expect the sun they see breaking through the clouds to shine on the sheep themselves instead of the countryside in the background. If you had balanced the light for the sheep, you would have received comments about the washed out sky. Tough lighting conditions to shoot under and I think you got as much out of this image as was possible.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding this critique.

Very well captured with great subdued light to allow the sheep to shine in the green. Bump.

Beautiful scene and well composed shot, but the trees and grass look too neatimage'd/noise-ninja'd

What a shame you have added an extra letter in to Calderdale - hopefuly it shouldn't harm your scores as I don't suppose many people know the area, but it screams out to a Yorkshire lass! Despite that, a lovely and very typical scene, nicely presented.
