An experiment with a totally senseless type of art, for me. I don't even really recall the editing, but there is a gradient and several duplicate layers in various blend modes. Sharpening done with High Pass Sharpening filter in PS Elements 2. Shot in RAW, with a flash bounced off the ceiling.

The bokeh here is pretty good, though I think the shot might pop a bit more with some more light. That might also help to give the look of a really crisp focus on the beads.
