 One of several hundred photos taken at Lake Powell over the past week. It was an amazing kayak trip and one of the most physically challenging vacations I've ever been on- we paddled nearly 45 miles over 6 days. My photos certainly don't do justice to this beautiful environment carved and shaped by wind and water erosion.

Question is.....was that wind or water that did the sculpting?

I can see where you're aiming at the effects that wind have had on the sculpted rock - though water has played a large part, too, I might add. The dead calm water belies any current presence of wind, which I think might result in some lower scores on this one. I do like the black and white treatment used here.

Hmmm...looks pretty darn still here. Not much wind happening at all. ??? Looks like an interesting place to visit. What's the histogram on this look like? It seems a little underexposed. Anyway. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Too much of a stretch for me to say this one is about wind though it is a great picture.

I like the relation to wind here. Much more creative than me. I like the shot a lot but wish the sky wasn't so blown
