The major factor in the image seems to be the lighting. It's very flat and as such very undramatic. The colors also seem rather drab. Different lighting conditions, often based on time of day, can really make a difference to the impact of an image.
I think this shot would look great in the course's brochure or in a travel booklet highlighting local golf courses, but I don't think it's very strong standing on its own as a photograph. It's a pretty view, but it's a pretty standard pretty view - there's nothing particularly exceptional about it.
