food photography is hard! So you picked a tough one here!
I think your yolk has some green in it that makes it quite the wrong color to be appetizing. I would tweak that back to golden yellow and I think your photo here would be MUCH stronger.
In general I would like to see more context to the subjet too. Pull back so we can see the curve of the pan matching the curve of the egg, maybe the curve of the hot plate and chrome trim around the hot plate giving even more lines to your composition. Then I think it would feel more a complete breakfast kind of shot too.
Overall I like the texture and composition here - hope that's helpful |

| Bring on the toast and I'll sit down!!! Not nuts for the yellow of the border. Great close up. The detail is great - I can almost smell it. |
