wow, I haven't seen one of those in a long long time. Great shot.

Very nice. The background color perfectly compliments the subject.

Nice shot. Could be a postcard in a toy museum :)

I love your work. Thank you so much for my photograph. I had a frame that is perfect for it. And thanks for referring me to this website. I am now eyeing my dad's digital with a renewed interest, haha! Love you.

these old toy cars like this one fascinate me... I had some as a child but didn't manage to save any of them. This one is in remarkably good shape... i guess this is about 50 or 60 years old maybe? i like your composition as well... good work :) - jmsetzler

Great toy shot and great toy! Excellent lighting, focus and contrast.

What a great item! I wish the photographic technique had matched the subject.

This is a very personable photo. I would give it a 10 without the lighting glare and I find the blue background with the lint distracting. =8

What a great chunk of art. I'm seeing a bunch of blue in the dropcloth, I'm not sure if that's intentional or not. I also see lint..... OOOooops. get a lint brush, it's a must. one last thing, I would soften the flash considerably, I'm seeing a lot more reflective flash-off than I like to see in my own work. good luck with this, I do like it. - Mike (Gotcha)

You have a great photo here!! The focus, depth of field, exposure are right on. As it is, it's one of my favorites. The only coment I might make is that the file size is only 64k. It's nice and sharp even now, but think how beautiful it would have been if you had used all 150k we are allowed. By the way, I'm not marking you down for this, it's just a suggestion:)

This is a nice photo. the composition and angle are good - as well as the cropping. I can't decide if I like the visible backdrop (the back looks black and the bottom looks navy blue) - but then again, it looks good. I think some of us get so picky...so what if its a little diff, it's still a great shot. originally at 7, but now at 8 Great work.

You've got my curiosity aroused to see the origin for this model. A very nice macro shot, nearly perfect save for a little burnout on the tires, windshield frame, and headlight. The angle of lighting is perfect and it seems to be even, so the only thing I can think of to correct the burnout would be to use a softbox to better disperse the light. The composition is excellent and really helps to make this photo work. This is one of my favorites so far.

I would sugest cleaning up the lint on the black mainly. You might turn the letters on the back wheel over and add a touch of light to the front. I like how he is looking at the camra and the photo in general.

Great subject, great framing, good lighting (maybe a touch washed out in the highlights) but the overall photo is let down by whatever you chose to put it on - the folds in the bottom right corner, the wheels partly obscured by folds and worst of all the small bits of white fluff/hairs. Great shot but could have been better - lamedos.

There's nothing like a old antique toy ! Nice subject. I'm not sure what that is in the upper left corner but it does distract a bit. Still...awesome photo ! =7 Shiiizzzam

cool car! Good choice of background color.
08/05/2002 06:20:00 PM
Needs a better background.

Aside from the little particles, hair, etc, on the blue surface I like this. It was the same flaws in my own picture that kept me from submitting one of my favorites. Still giving you a high score though.

I like this one...nice shadows and light
08/05/2002 01:17:00 PM
wow! i wish i had that in my collection!

Nice. Good focus, good subject matter, good color. 8

This is a great shot, a lint brush would have helped on the background material.

Love it - small niggle with reflection. Perhaps bounce flash - that's if you did use flash - or natural light would be better... (7)

I am not sure how this shows age... Or is it something long ago that I don`t know?
I don`t know what atom 153 Is.... or am I showing my age??? nice pic thought... I don`t know how to rate this...

I like this image. Nitpicking: the dirt on the cloth are distracting.
