Great job of really isolating your subject. His position/posture with the fence ornament and that look of his really make this interesting. The b&w conversion doesn't hurt this either.

Nice detail here! I think perhaps I would like to see the shot in color, but the tones here do add sort of a "preparing for winter" feel to the shot.
