Nice concept.

This is a bit blah, though. There's not much color in there to liven it up. The flash (?) has created a large, blinding shine/spot at the bottom. Also, I think the blade of the knife usually faces the plate. Maybe a different angle would've helped this pic.

Nice attempt, though.

Nice concept, bad focus.

the cropping needs help, and the rotation too. also, the flash(light, whatever) is too glaring on the table (reflection). nice idea though. I give a 7

You're spozed to slurp your soup! Nicely arranged still life. Was the spot of glare in the foreground intentional? I find it a bit distracting.

That is not irony. Alanis Morisette is just retarded.

I especially like what looks like a flash!

Exactly what do they do with so many utensils? I never understood that, let alone not having the ones you need. Just a thought, a place mat would have kept that shine down beneath the bowl.

A little bit too much glare just below the dish. The shot is a little off center and rotated a few degrees. I think to pull something like this off, it has to be dead center and straight.

looks too "set up" , it would help if lighting was more difuse.

shouldn't have used flash

Alanis was just wrong.

Your lighting doesn't work here. That white patch at the bottom really spoils this shot.
10/01/2003 08:14:54 PM
I'm afraid the lighting really takes away from this one a lot. The huge glare just dominates the shot, I'm afraid.

This photo would be better without the glare at the bottom.

I don't really see the irony here ?

Lighting could be better, good expression of Irony.

i like the way the flash creates the impact of this photo. it makes a nice hot spot right below the soup bowl.

Another no spoon entry! I think this is the third one I saw today! :)

The concept is good but the plate is overlit, the glare from the table ruins the overall shot.

lighting could be much better, objects should be in center frame, a little out of focus - i think even a sepia tone would improve the photo.

dont like the reflections

There is a lot of glare in the front of the soup bowl. Maybe you should cropped the shot closer.
