day7 of 30 day self portrait.I had all kinds of "cute" stuff planned but instead decided to stop planning and let emotion guide me. I know it's dark but i prefer it that way. sorry if it sucks. this ones for me.

This is a very powerful triptych. You really know how to throw an emotional punch in your images!

And I agree with what everyone else has said about how good it is for you to use this "challenge" to express yourself at your whim, not a random theme. I've done that quite a bit, too, mixed in with the more typical photographs.

I don't think this sucks at all. It looks like good photography to me as well as telling a story.

Another great triptych from you. Love the emotion you're portraying and the dark tones really work for it.

I think you pretty much summed up the idea of this challenge with your phrase "this one's for me". With the usual challenges, our shots have to cater to the voters in some way in order to get a decent score. With this challenge, there are no votes to garner, and really nobody you need to impress. It's a way to learn and express yourself the way you see fit. Thanks for sharing this emotional side of you :)

I don't think it's too dark given the theme. Also, your skin tones are just right, so the darkness adds to the images rather than inhibiting them.

Great use of triptych. I don't mind it being dark. It works well!

I shall re-title this "Sneeze" :)

Great job in putting this together. Hope you find the inspiration in this 30 days to post a counter to this: Peace, Joy, Contentment :)

Nice and moody. Dark is your friend, works very well here.

And this one is really great! I love "personal" shots... not trying to please people, just doing what you like.. This is really you, and I really like it :D

this is awesome! I was thinking of doing a version of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"... and this was close to how i'd envisioned it! It's not too dark - i think it looks better that way with your hair. I like the overhead angle, and great lighting! Fun shot :O)

Great POV for this. Yes, it's dark, but the darkness suits the moods. On Anguish, there's some motion blur on your hands (hey, I'm being critical, it's Monday). I do like this tryptich...very emotive.
