been checking your work, digging it with a good spade. this photo reminds me of my own challenge shot but yours is more dramatic, less conventional, and well, better.

It's a great shot; for this tree it is the perfect treatment.

Congrats on a top ten & PB! Glad to see you finally get a score you deserve(way to many undeserved low scores on the doll series).

Funny title.
I'm not keen on the contrast on the lower left of the tree's silhouette, but it's not like you can just pull the clouds down right... ;)
Nice depth in the clouds too.

Nicely composed and excellent cloud drama. Perhaps a little too dark.

Nice perspective, nice processing. And I just love puffy clouds. I wish there was a touch of color in here somewhere though. Still a 6 with a possible bump to 7.

this reminds me of zueszen - not a bad photog to be compared to. I'm betting this is too challenging of an image to do well - but I hope I'm wrong and this is getting the attention it deserves -

The tree is far too dark to be the main subject.

This is my favorite photograph of a single tree submitted in this challenge! Great work. Excellent black and white. Perfect sky! Good luck for winning this challenge. You have a 10 from me!

Nice. Clouds overpower the tree a bit.

Coming or going this is very nice! My preferance for this picture would have it with a 10% shift lighter in gamma and a leveling of the horizon

I wish there was just a bit more detail on the tree - I think. But it's a fantastic shot none the less. It's so powerful and moving. Exactly the kind of shot I like to see!

Pretty billowing clouds there. It's a little on the dark side down below though.

Excellent b&w tones in that awesome sky. It would nicer if the tree was more in front of the whitest parts of the clouds to be just hair more visible. Well done!

now if this challenge were "clouds" you might very well win this one. I have to 'hunt' the tree? not sure how I feel I'd change this..dodge the tree and horizon? maybe even give the tree and ground color? 8 for clouds 5 because there is a tree in shot. overall I give you a 7..gl in challenge :-)

Absolutely setting with the dramatic sky. Great concept. Well composed. But on my calibrated monitor ... too dark.
