 Some may not see this as 'At Rest,' but I feel it displays the topic nicely, especially the requirement for a feeling of calm. I had submitted an inanimate object, but it lacked punch, even though it was a nice shot. I may be voted down for religious conotations, but I'm OK with that...

I got new Alien Bees studio lights yesterday, and this shot was 'portrait practice' on myself. I bought two lights, but this shot was made with one light (half power, through a Brolley soft box) and a reflector...

Nice composition. The black and white image helps to bring nice contrast and a calming effect, which is one of the purposes of prayer. Good job.

I feel that this needs a touch less cropping at the lower edge - the fingers are cropped so short that one has to look before they come into focus for what they are - they are a little too abbreviated for immediate visualisation of the pose. If that doesn't make sense, PM me. Lighting (and shadow areas) are great. Neg- space on the right well used.
