great texture of sky and sea. I kinda dig how the figures are NOT silhouetted.

I like the subject and photo in general. I think this would have been a much better photo if you had worked with bringing out the colors more. It seems like the photo is overly sharpened as well.

Interesting sky! Its busy without being overwhelming. The far boat looks like a spider on the water. This would be really nice if it was just the one boat with the kid, and he was blackened completely out on the water. Many possibilities here. I really like it.

Thrilling image!!!! I would love to fish there!
Technical elements: The horizon line is only slightly off-center, so I'm going to assume that was not equal to your "Rule of Thirds" idea. The fisherman & the High-Key white spot above him in the clouds are both near the two R1/3 points on the right side of the photo. As such they seem to "play off" of each other in a near mirror-image sort of way. Nice balance and interplay of elements. I am especially taken by the clouds that seem to form a fan-shape whose origin is approximately "dead center" of the composition. The ripples in the water appear to be mirroring the effect once again.
Photography at its finest!!!! Great job!!!

Wow! Did I say Wow?! ;^) Fantastic sky makes this a no-brainer entry. He-he. I would have been estatic to see this develop. Oh yeah...the rest of the image. The boats are well positioned in your composition to meet the ROT theme of the challenge. I'm seeing some ghosting around the people in both boats, especially the back one. Overall, well done!

This feels like you are under water. I really like the effect of the sky and water merging into one.
