It was a beautiful evening at the beach. I feel so lucky to live just steps away. I fear I might get marked down because of the blur on the wave, but I thought I'd submit anyways and share this fabulous scene with voters. My favorite part about this is the reflection in the pools of water. :)

I really like this shot. It seems to be more artistic than those set-up shots to me, but then again I am a landscape kind of guy. At any rate very nice shot, I think you did a magnificent job at capturing it.

This is a beautiful shot. Love the reflections in the pools. Brings back fond memories of living in California about 5 minutes from the coast. Miss having that luxury. East coast beaches are just not the same. Dull in comparison, plus I prefer sunsets to sunrises.
I gave this a 7, which is a very high score from me on a landscape, since landscapes usually bore me, even when they're pretty. This one's got some good energy from the crashing wave, the reflections and the crazy clouds.
This is the first pic given to me for voting and a great one to begin with. Nice detail, great lighting and the colors are soft and sweet. Very nice capture and I expect this to do well. 8 for now.
Wow, this is great! I was thinking you'd need to enter a striking composition in the Pastel Challenge, since the colors would be muted, and you've definitely succeeded in that. 9.
Absolutely stunning! Perfect exposure, perfect light and perfect timing. I so love this type of shot in light pastel over a highly saturated Sunset/sunrise. Very beautiful and one of my favorites of the challenge.
A beautiful rendering of the ocean, which is not usually considered pastel! I like the reflection of clouds in the puddle. Great picture matching the theme!!
