okay well here is a breakdown of what this photo is. first off yes it is a journalism type shot .. that is what kind i take ... if i see it i shoot it ... the truck attempted to squeeze through a small bridge and barely made it .. but caught one of the rear wheels on an embankment under the bridge .. causing it to hit the bridge ... the driver pulled the truck from under the bridge ... but then it broke in half once on the other side .. and sits "at rest" till someone can come and tow it off ...

oh, none of my shots are ment to be artistic ... they are ment to inform and convey what i saw... :)

Too late for the OOPS challenge? :)

Oh jeez! I hope everyone got okay out of that! Creative use of the challenge though. It reminds me of my cat when my cat wants me to scratch her back. She arches just like that.

OMG! Great title, GREAT shot of the truck. Love the expression of the guy's face, too. Guess you were at the right place at the right time (photographically speaking)

Funny, but not artistical at all... 6

I love the way the "soggy in the middle" drivers are walking away.
Great snapshot. ThanX :)

HAHAHAHAHA.....this photo proves the old adage...make sure you have a camera always....ya never know when you're gonna need it! I find the guys a bit distracting. Maybe a different angle would have worked better. GL.

nice action/journalism shot. resting? hmmmm
09/27/2003 07:48:59 PM
Oh my. . . I like the angle you chose to photograph the truck at. The guys on the side also fit in nicely.

WOW, i have never seen this happen before! Now thats what I call a truck trying to rest!

Gee, I wonder if they'll "total" that one!
09/26/2003 12:15:07 AM
great capture! I'm not that crazy about the technical merits of the shot, but it's good from a photojournalism perspective.
09/25/2003 07:38:02 PM
Good. The poor truck was just so sleepy!
09/25/2003 05:02:54 PM

09/25/2003 04:28:36 PM

09/25/2003 12:50:13 AM

09/24/2003 01:04:51 PM
Too FUNNY!

Very unusual shot - just how did they misload that rig.

Look like the big guy in camoflage trousers is about to ask you what you are about.

It doesn´t meet the challenge
