Multi image in camera.

Post: Selected shadow area and did a layer of levels choosing the black and white points. The gray selection gave the blue hue and I liked it so I went with it. Cloned out a dark area in the upper right corner. Layer of brightness and contrast. Cloned and healed a billion hot spots. Selected inversed. Cloned and healed another billion hot spots...and time was getting short so some got burned as well. Also burnt the upper two corners of the shadow. Selected the dark area around where the mask is was laying and did layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue saturation. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen.

Not unlike some other entry descriptions I read, I finally finished shooting this at 11:06 PM the night of the challenge. I did not have time to put the shooting details in the description...so: I took a picture of the shadow on the white area first. I focused on the line in the center of the image and had the shutter on a 10 second timer. I held the mask in one hand and shined a small white LED flashlight on it to get the shadow and held it as study as I could while the shutter finally clicked for the first 2 second exposure. Keeping the camera in the same position, I placed the mask on the dark area, a piece of black velvet, and set the timer again but only 2 seconds this time as I shot the mask, illuminating it by waving the flashlight over it during the second 2 second exposure. I had to take the second shot several times til I got it almost right. But not quite....it should have been lined up better as noted in comments during the voting.

AND...oops wrong camera, should be the Fuji.

Nice idea. The two shadows don't quite line up in their rotation, but I'll forgive you that. 6

I like the effect of the color of the mask and the shadow in the background and how they they appear to be at different angles. I originally was not sure I liked the lighting on the mask but it does add to the mystery so I guess I like it...lol 8
