I almost missed the smoke here. The tongue is in great focus as well as the matches but the fire itself seems just a bit too blurry or monochromatic or something. The setup must have been fun for this and for the most part it works - the way it's lit the smoke looks great - the nostrils and fire itself are my only cricisms here - the overall feeling of this would probably be better without the light on the nose.

I'm not sure I even want to know how this was done!! I like that you've managed to keep some detail in the flame, the composition is good and the smoke adds to the image :o)

Ouch. I think this would work better with a lot fo shadow on the model's face and more color in the lips. Female would work better for dramatic impact.

Ouch! The smoke is really neat. The flame is a little overexposed. I think the sticks or whatever is being lit takes away a little. Maybe something spicy like a pepper on fire or even a pepper in front of the sticks may have been better. It's a still a crazy shot, though!

Neat idea, but boy, the shot is right up your nose... ;) That's not gettin' ya bonus points. I wish the coloring was better and the flame a bit less exposed. 5
