nice texture, interesting composition; cropping slightly on the bottom might be more effective (?) , losing detail of some of texture in background

I love it. I can't find anything to complain about
It deserves a 9

good texture shot

Decent composure, though I think a tighter crop is needed to shower more detail.

Nice work. I can feel the paint fleck off as I scratch at it. I might have cropped this one a bit to take out the floor in the bottom right corner, to keep the attention on the armrest.

Overall, this is a good shot, as far as I can see. Texture clearly displayed. It's a bit bland, you know? I don't have any suggestions for "spicing it up", but it would be helpful. 6 Swash

Very nice use of black and white, good reepresentation of texture

I like the texture in this photo. I really like the angle of the chair arm and how it leads me out of the frame in the upper right corner. As I look at this photo, i wonder if a photo angle from the other side of the chair would have been more appealing... The chair back would have filled more of the image and then the concrete floor would not be visible... However, I do like the light/dark contrast in this particular view.. that may not have been possible from the other angle... = 7 - jmsetzler

I can feel the ache of returning to work after a vacation at the beach. The angle is wonderful and the composition...with the bare spot in the upper right and the bolt in the center...is brilliant. I like the light peeking through the slat on the left. I like it ALL! 10 crisa58

I like the composition and framing of this shot. It is simple, and could almost tell a story. karmat

Good texture but need something colored to catchup the glance

Not close enough to focus on the texture, and just close enough that I don't get an overall feel for the subject.

Nice lighting, composition, and angle. Good job.

Interessting angle

I like the peeling paint. it works very well for the challenge. also, the shadows behind the chair provide a nice change in values. it might be nice to see some more chipped paint, though.

I really like this, good eye. Kee
