Now, how come my last minute shots do better than my planned shots? At 10:30 PM I figured I should shoot something in case my beach shot tanks (which it is) so I went into my kitchen and the only thing of interest was blueberries. So I shot a few, rearranged them, shot a few more, edited, got it in with 4 minutes to spare. Oh and I took a break or two in between. Makes me think I should really just stay at home and shoot things in my lightbox for every challenge. ;)
Thanks for the comment and the score! Much appreciated!

Nah...don't want to do that. You'd get bored! ;^)
Congrats on a fantastic finish with this entry. Most people don't realize how much texture and character a blueberry can have. You've captured the hidden beauty of this simple fruit, and in a hurry as well. Showoff! He-he. Well, I hope you at least had to agonize over the crop.
Hey. When did you get the 30D? Last time I saw you you were carrying the Rebel.
On first vote run through I gave this a 6 as I felt it was not abstract enough. Now looking back at my votes I am deciding to bump this up one. The colors are great and the detail is sharp. A very nice macro shot.
