Congrats on this fine abstract. The shallow DOF works so well because of the warm gradations or oragne and red in the background. Great composition as well.

Congrats. I figured this a shoe in for a ribbon.

Unreal. I thought this would also ribbon. It looks like something outer this world.

This was one of my absolute favourites, wish it ribboned, but what can one do? Great finish and thanks for sharing a great shot with us

The reds and yellows... This is on fire :) another image which does wonders with a shallow DOF *bump*

Superb! My favorite in the challenge. I love the orange and red tones. You did a nice job keeping the little fuzzy guys sharp while letting the rest of the photo blur. :) Adding to my favorites.

Great color and perfect depth-of-field. Outstanding image.

Technically well done! Nice shallow DOF

this is my favourite from the challenge, from the moment I saw it. The very shallow DoF is stunning and you've managed to focus at the top part. the different orange colors are fantastic.

This image immediately captured my attention. The strong vibrant colors, and the focus on the tips are perfect.

Very different and very good. I like the focal point and the shades of warm colors.

9 - Oh.. wow. I wish this was bigger. Not sure on the frame so big but... does work well. ... very nice - want to say even more detail on that one stigma, but it is likely there - just the size (restrictions) doesn't do this justice. Color(s) - very nice.

I like everything about this gorgeous abstract except the border. It's overwhelmingly wide. I'd prefer either no border, or a much narrower one. This one seems to intrude upon the pic.

very very nice! the dof works perfectly here.

I'm saying!!!!!!! Another great hibiscus macro! Keep up the great work!

Too much red/orange, doesn't offer enough contrast.

This is truly beautiful. Great DOF and I love the softness. It almost looks like a gorgeous alien of some sort. LOL Good job. 9

One of the best so far. Great colors and the focus is spot on. This could definitely be a ribbon winner.
