 I had a picture similar to this before the contest was anounced, I liked the idea and decided to shoot somthing with the same feel. Urban subjects are so much fun, they can express so much.

This image was brightness and contrast adjusted and sharpened

That is a really nice macro. Great perspective, lighting, detail. But it doesn't really match your caption.

I think this would be wonderful for textures, and it is a good shot but, for me, the title is all that links it to this challenge.

I'm confused here, the legend isn't being show in the image at all. The title seems a little tacked on without actually showing a crack.

Interesting macro shot and I like the shallow depth of field, but I'd have liked to have seen the shoe relating to the title more ie actually stepping on a crack of some sort.

I dont think this photo really fits well with the title nor the superstition. Its sort of a stretch. also it's pretty noisy.

Interesting image of the shoe. Maybe a touch of contrastiness to it. But it doesn't sell me the superstition.

Not sure what the photo of the shoe means about stepping on cracks. I like the photo, I'm just not feeling the connection
