Possibly/probably very localized to the United States, but hopefully international voters will give it the benefit of the doubt and take note of the rhyme.

The photo is my feet, in my favorite old comfortable sandals, standing on my welcome mat, which I dragged out onto the sidewalk where the light was good. I chose the sandals, blue jeans, and welcome mat for their color and texture since I'm a texture nut. Shot hand held in macro mode.

For those who asked, the penny is on the toe because that particular toenail got somewhat mangled a couple weeks ago when it had an unfortunate run in with a swinging door at work.

He, he, this is funny! I like how you did it, it really looks like someone looking at her toes.

Hi Rebecca,
Another shot of your toenails Ü. This is cute. Well, done technically. The only complaint is that it's not overly exciting. It's nice, but not 'wow', and there isn't quite enough emphasis on the penny.

What I liked: Nice toes, great texture.

What I didn't like: Not sure why the penny is on the toe. All of the reds and yellows de-emphasize the warm metallic tones of the penny.

Would have worked better with the penny on the ground.

Interesting placement of the penny. How long did it take you to get that penny to balance while you stood back up?

I find this very busy and my eye can't decide where to go, can't find anything to settle on that satisfies it. IMO, the penny is totally overwhelmed.

nice idea. Putting the penny on the toe makes this more interesting. lightings a bit harsh on the toes of the left foot though. Still a nice photo.

Cute concept on this. I think most everything works together, but the toes seem to light in colour which distract from everything else.
