Too contrasty/sharp for me. Neat idea.

Interesting and colorful texture... the water drops look a little strange in this image... maybe if the image had more of a three dimensional quality, they would stand out more :) = 5 - jmsetzler

I was down to last eight of photos and I personally think yours is best.

It looks to me like the drops have been oversharpened a bit, so they look more like sand (or grits?) than water drops. But I like it overall...

Great detail! I hope you tell us how it was done.

Great looking shot -- almost looks like it's an airbrushed painting... I'd love to know how you did it.

Glad your title explained this.
Excellent!

Good idea... a little underexposed

The mallard's blue wing feather in the lower left really gives this photo some punch. I'm guessing you shot it at an aquarium when the duck dove? How much cropping did you do? It's truly awesome - 9 crisa58 (And it's a 9 only because I feel the photos I ranked 10 were more compelling.)

I like the colors and the textures on your picture, but I'm not so sure about the composition. My eye doesn't have any place to alight on. It looks like your focus was a little off and you used too much sharpening to componsate.

Very cool! Are the white dots bubbles? I really don't know how you did this, but I really like it! I can't wait until the week is over to find out more about this shot. I hope you got "wordy" in the details section! 9 Swash

WOW! This looks incredible! I can't imagine how you got this shot... Was the duck shaking off? This is so vibrantly ALIVE that I just love it!

I like the bubbles.
