The lobby of my apartment building. I have done this before and I shot it again yesterday with both the Fuji S9000 and the Nikon D70S and I am now thoroughly convinced as to what I will be shooting with more and more once I get more glass!

In the previous versions I shot, I went with a wider angle of the room getting more of the coach and a picture frame on the wall in which the window is reflected. I did not this time as I knew the slimmer frame and cramped shooting space would not allow it on the Nikon. I also removed the faux plant the last time from the table and I just plumb forgot to this time. But I like the how the plant sort of looks like the shadows on the curtain...maybe a little optical illusion if you will.

Post: Auto adjust for brightness and converted to BW in Picture project. Convert to JPEG in PS ELements 3.0. Cloned some hot spots on the curtain. Power Retouche Dynamic Range Compressor. Layer adjustments for levels and Brightness/contrast. Spot healed another hot spot. SHarpen. Resize. Sharpen.

Back to comment. This is cool. Bautiful shadows and I love the shape of the window (assuming it's a window with trees outside). Very nicely done.

Great natural lighting and tones. I'd like to see more negative space on the left hand side but not sure this was possible.
