Seriously, this was one of my favorite portraits in this challenge. I gave it a 10! It was a standout, and I can't beLIEVE it placed 72nd! Jeeeeeeeeez. . .what were people thinking! But 6.2 is a great score.

Great composition and lighting. The catchlights in your eyes are good too. I like this shot in black and white.

Very nice job. Good choice on the hat as it adds nice texture variety. The black & white works very well and the expression on your face makes the pic feel personal. My guess is that your wife loves it! Good luck!

oooh, darlin' Really cute. Nice texture on the hat. The eyes seem just slightly OOF. Maybe the focus was up just a bit more, instead of on your face. I'd reshoot with a solid background - the carpet to the right is just a bit distracting.

Really needs a bit more sharpness in my opinion, especially at the eyes, because this is otherwise a fantastic portrait... light is great.
