I think IMO, That more banister should be added in the foreground with a tighter crop at the top. The composition and overall feel of the photo is very good, nice job with the PP on it.

This looks like a stairway for an old Hollywood Actress.....

A tighter crop would improve this, I think. Taking out the volute at the base of the banister would give the sense of motion rather than an arupt halt.

Really captured the architectural beauty of the stairway.

the stairs function as a good tool to move the eye from the bottom-left corner of the image to the top-right, but the statude force my eye back down suddenly.
but nice overall color-temp

I like it, but I really don't know why.

This is an awesome interior shot. Compositionally it is very well put together. Lighting is really good as well. Very nice.

This does not meet the challenge - inanimate but not an arranged composition of objects - except insofar as interior decorating is just that :-)
Come back to give an extra pint for being a purty shot.

Beautiful! This could be in an architecture magazine. Nice lighting. Well done.

no thought to set this up

I gave this photo a 1 because it didn't seem to me to fulfill my expectation of a "still life," a classic form of artfully arranged objects. Call me narrow minded but that's the way I see it. Nevertheless, it is a lovely photo, one you should be proud of.

Elegant

Love the colours and the mood. Nice focus - light in the window is a bit distracting. Maybe a diferent angle to cut out the window would've helped.
