(First submission on DPChallenge)

Kodak DC215 is a very simple 1 megapixel machine almost 4 years old, so getting this photo required a little bit of "fighting-against-the-machine": In a tradicional machine you would this effect by pulling the zoom while shooting. On this machine, that's not possible so I aimed the camera in macro mode and pulled my arms up nice and smooth just after pressing the shutter.

After no more than 50 shots, I finally got it.

It is very good Basilio!
and I believe that it took 50 shots!
But it is important to be "On Challenge"
:-)

Ask me how I know!!!!
Keep up with the good work and keep surprising us!

Thanks for voting my photograph.

First of all, yes I know I would get rammed for not following the challenge theme, but sometimes one also takes pictures for ourselves.
I created this shot because I liked the original idea and was very happy with the final result. After carefull thinking decided to post it because it seemed like a photo to share with others even if I had no blue ribbon photo to submit.

I will do this kind of "off-topic" again, but feel that adding "off-topic" to the title (the only part visible during voting) would be unfair as it might seem like I'm trying to get away with it.

Also, couldn't decide on a fair criteria for marking comments as helpfull so in the end, decided to marked them all. I will try and address this puzzle later.

RichT8496 and everyone else: Thanks for the support. Went back and took a look at your "Fork and Spade" and I see what you mean. My first idea was "Springtime" and you can imagine where that was leading me... I just couldn't find a nice source for 1000 springs.

============================

In Portugal "Fall"/"Autumn" is "Outono" so the pun only works in american english.

No points for meeting the challenge with the non-season sense of fall, but this photo has a lot of impact. You've picked a nice subject for zoom-blur and executed it very well.

Nice shot. I don't see this as seasonal. {?}

cool zoom pan but what does this have to do with 'seasons'? I understand your title tie in to the challenge, but challenges are for photographs. Excellent photo, but not for this challenge.

Very effective shot and I do get the reference but it doesn't really meet the challenge. This is me talking from experience. Being cunning with your interpretation doesn't seem to work with the voters on this site! However, I'm going to rate it highly because I'm all for being cunning. Plus I don't understand the 'Fall'. In UK we call it Autumn!

I don\'t quite get what this has to do with seasons. It\'s probably too clever for me. :)
