I think you have a fine understanding of negative space. Some people might not see it as such because of the changes in colors. *shrug*

Thank you all for making this my best finish to date!

Many have asked how I did this shot.

Well, it was actually very simple. The only thing that might be difficult for most is having a sheet of dicrhoic glass on hand to use as a background. Black glass that has a ripple texture makes the base.

This was lit with ceiling bounced EiKO Photoflood & an angled diffused side light.

The only Photoshop tool used was the unsharp Mask.

I sure do appreciate all the helpful comments.

This image has great color. According to the ROT the bottle shoud be centered further to the left and some folks make mark you down for it, but i like this image the way it is.

I wish I could score this higher, as I love it, but to me the coloured background has too much texture to count as negative space. Score: 5, but well done on a great picture.

Can´t see any negative space here, it´s a cool picture though but it lacks negative space.

Focus, colors, dof and composition is terrific. But for a Negative Space challenge I'm seeing the background first and the bottle and vials last. Good luck.

Unique and cool. The various colors play so well with the glass. Thanks for having that glass in such good focus.
