Fun picture -- can't way to live in a house and get my own dog. Nicely composed/cropped, good focus. The person's face is a little bit over-exposed, I think -- but not too badly so. I wish I could see more of a lick than just that tiny fraction of the tongue sticking out of the dog's mouth.

why is the dog's body not sharp?

Nicely done! Very good composition. Good lighting though just a tad hot.

beautiful composition, love the detail

Very well composed photo, although I think the dog’s collar is drawing to much attention. The way the outline of the dog’s nose is parallel to the outline of the cheek is a wonderful detail.

Nice sentiment... Don't quite care for the exposure level of the human face. 5 sjgleah

both faces are too much on border, empty gap in the center attracts too much of attention

good shot, but the lady's face in too light
07/17/2002 06:26:00 PM
lickety lick

very sweet, but too washed out in the foreground might try more indirect lighting rather than the internal flash if you can

composition is good, lighting glare is distracting.

Excellent ! Can't see anything wrong, I like everything in this picture ! It's creative, well composed, and b&w is beautifully used. Congratulations, you deserve to be in the top ten this week (or at least in the top ten of the 115 pictures I already voted on :))

I like the subject and I think it's a very nice b/w shot the face being brighter than the dog....

i am impressed by the uncanny timing of this shot. If only you could get the same shot without flash, it would turn out so much better. sadly, I doubt you could get the little dude to stay still for very long.

yep..unconditional love...well after all ya know what dog spelled backwards is. Human model's face is overexposed.

A little bit bright on the womans face, but still a good shot.

Good shot. Might have looked a bit better if you had removed the dogs tags, I think they are sort of disctracting.

I like the idea of this shot, but I think there is to much of the womans face or maybe its the lighting is just a little too harsh.boyte1
