I love the feeling you have created in this shot. The toning and that grain, WOW!

I just love this. The distant calling in his eyes...his hands tucked into his pockets as if not allowing his emotions to escape. He waits for his future.......!

Interesting post processing - good choice for tones - this poster grabbed my attention

grain is a bit distracting but the "over the shoulder" shot, duo-tones and profile work well with the title -- one of my favorites

The intentional graininess works for this image. Well done!

He looks a lot like Kevin Costner. Definitely would work well as a movie poster. Texture and tones make this shot. Well done.

Cool grainy profile. This definitely has that movie poster quality. Good choice in coat too. This is a cool entry.

Very well done image but why the noise ?

One of a few in the challenge that actually looks like it could be a movie poster. Very well composed and the sepia treatment works well at setting the mood. His expression makes me wonder where he is going. So how do you know Mickey Rourke?

I like the grain in the photo...

Much to grainy, or too much noise.....

Awesome for a movie poster... Maybe a bit too grainy, but still nice!

I love this! He looks like Mickey Rourke only better looking. The grain really gives this shot mood. A winner for sure.

What actor is this?
Very well done. IMO cropping a bit from the top would have done better.

I'm ambivalent about the grain (I like grain, but this grain is too uniform I think), but I love the position, orientation and expression of this guy. He looks like Mickey Rourke, so I will see this movie for sure. 7.

reminds me of the marlboro man. Image has an etheral quality. Like the editing. Would make a good poster. 9

No fair! You got Mickey Rourke! :) Good picture, good poster, probably better than the movie: the mystery is there... "where is he going?" "whom is he leaving behind?" A bold simple image that instantly conveys the title.

Great shot! Love the pose of the man. He looks like a famous actor, I forgot his name. I'm not sure if I like the noise in this photo, but on the other hand it fits well with the old look of the photo.

This could easily be a sequal to "The Postman," from this angle the subject looks eerily like Kevin Costner. I really like the composition. While I really didn't vote on movie poster qualities as much as just on the photo, this one probably has the best movie poster qualities of the batch. The grain is a nice touch.

Very nice, I like the grain effect and the sepia tones. I imagine Kevin Costner in this role. :)

Normally I'm not a fan of grain and noise but this effect seems to work well here. Nicely done. Among my top picks.

The grainy sepia works well here. Superb lighting! Just can't find anything this photo needs! 10

nice shot, not sure about the texture though, actually i am sure, I hate it,it spoils the scene and lets down a really good photo

what I am looking for in this challenge is for a creative 'wow' shot that would go on a movie poster. I think that's what the challenge is all about...this would work OK
