Haunting, borders on disturbing (though one would be hard pressed to say exactly why). Great drama, expert exposure and processing. Congrats on your Member of the Week.

This is a very emotional photo, and the title is perfect. The photo could have been used as a movie poster.

i feel the eye on the left of this image could be less prominent or the face could be a lil more shown from the left, as just a very clear full eyeball in a dark place looks less real and rather scary! . but excellent shot.

Reeminds me of a boy that was captured during war time. Not that I've seen it but I have seen a lot of movies where it looks like this. I love it.

This is so haunting... just how the eyes pop, and the expression in them it's almost nightmareworthy [although thats not much coming from me who gets scary dreams from even Scary Movie =P]

but seriously, an amazing photograph. I love it.

The statements here are amazing. The metal grating: trapped, held back, forgotten. The glass: brokeness, fragility, lost emotion (opaqued by dirt and grime). And the boy, covered in his environment, half lost to the darkness, shadowed and worn beyond his years, his only hope and brightness lies behind his eyes. Not enough left to even reach out throught he grate with dirtied hands, only enough hope to stare and hope someone sees him. Someone notices him. That someone would care enough to set him free from the prison he has made.

Oh, so many memories. I am so glad that this is no longer me. But it still is a part of who I am today. It still makes me cry, because I always feel like I'm still that child, and have to remember who I have become.

Nice job on the contrast and composition. Something about the broken pane of glass is intriguing as it creates a mirror effect and breaks up the picture, yet the wire in front pulls the frame together. Good job and nice finish!

Well done! Congrats on a personal best, and great job in helping the team come through with another win. I like how the model's eye is seen in the shadow side of his face, and the all the hard, metal surfaces around him.

This has the feeling of a boy in a big city either being held prisoner or captive somehow. Fallen through the cracks of society and nobody notices or cares. Nice mood set.

there are many things I like about this.the tones and colour are so rich.the pattern and texture of the wire immediately caught my eye then I was drawn to the child's face.Initial impression was that the processing on his eyes was too much but the longer I look the more I like what you've done here.another favourite for me,good luck in the challenge.

Nice and interesting shot with the fence. Might have brought the eye in darkness up a tad too much. It's nice to see part of the eye but it looks unnatural. Maybe that's teh look you were going for. Great pic, like the tones too.
