This photo, to me, has lost focus on the eyes, which would have made this a tad more interesting a photo. I do love the tones though. |

Greetings from the Critique club. First let me tell you what I love about this photo. I like composition of this photo. I love the models expression and the framing of her hands for the face. The shallow DOF works well for the right side of the photo, however getting a little deeper DOF and sharper focus on the eyes would make this photo stand out. I also feel that the hair in front of the right eye is distracting. Overall a pretty good attempt with a few changes this could be a very well done shot. |

Lovely eyes and expression. Good crop. The focus seem to be little soft though. Still a great capture. 8. |

Great image - the skin tones and eye/lip colors are great (nice and rich). Only nit on this one is for this type of picture, the eyes just really need to pop, and they are coming across a little soft. Nice overall composition though! |

First thing that popped into my mind when I opened this was that it needs better focus on the eyes, other than that a pretty decent photo. |

why are you focused on her nose?
you should have focused on her eyes! :) |

Looks like the focus fell on the strands of hair and not on her face. Beautiful eyes! |

Beautiful subject, wonderful pose, perfectly framed. My only concern is that the focus seems to be on the tip of her nose, rather than on her eyes. Otherwise, great shot. |

It looks like the aperture here is too large, more of the models face in focus would be better, or with as shallow dof as this the focus should be on her left eye not the nose. The light is a bit too yellow as you have probably just used a regular lamp, you could fix this in Photoshop. Hence this I like the framing and the expression of the model, don't take me wrong, this is not a bad photo in whole. |

Eyes aren't sharp (focus seems to be on tip of nose). |

I really like the composition here, but the focus seems to be slightly off. It's catching the tip of the nose, rather than the eyes. Beautiful color on those eyes though! |

a bit of a rack focus to emphasize the eyes instead of the tip of the nose would really make her awesome green eyes 'inviting'.. |

Changing your aperture to get her whole face in focus might have helped, but still a nice shot. |

Soft image but I like it. Still I think it would have been better if her face was more in focus as she has an interesting face. |

I wish this was sharper because she has gorgeous eyes. I love the pose and the cupped face. PLEASE try this shot again, because it will make a great portrait if it is sharper. Focus on the eyes. There's a nice warmth to the colour of the lighting thatI like. Not sure if the voters will agree... |

Great setup, attractive model, good composition but spoiled by a couiple of things. Your depth of field has defeated a really good sharp aoutcome and the background to the right could certainly do with killing off. If you didn't want to centre her then egt in there with a burn tool and darken it out to nothing. |
