Based on the Paul Simon lyric:

"Good God! Don't Jump!"
The boy sat on the ledge
An old man who had fainted was revived
And everyone agreed
'Twould be a miracle indeed
If the boy survived

Save the life of my child
Cried the desperate mother
"Oh what's becoming of the children?"
People asking each other

Handheld, on the front steps.

Nice idea - and nice lot of comments shows that it elicits interest. I gave it one of the higher votes. But if only the definition had been better on the soles.

Only because I hadn't gotten around to reading them yet -- I don't read them during the voting period.

I cannot see the link between the Title and the image. I can't tell what the image is at all. Sorry

In all absolute honesty I can't work this out - sorry.

I originally commented: "dnmc." Upon reflection what I see as black shiloutes I suppose could be knees of the soles of shoes. And maybe the little shiloute humps to the right could be fingers. So maybe there is a loose connection to the challenge, but it's hanging from a thread.

I honestly don't understand the picture. I can't tell what's in it.

This doesn't have enough clarity to convey your message, I don't think. It looks like a pair of shoes left outside on a rusty box?

"Cried the desperate mother..." - if I understand the song reference. Too little detail and the coloring just doesnt feel good at all (or at least doesnt make you feel like I assume the pic is going for).

I've been staring at this for a while and still can't figure out what exactly this is supposed to be.

I'm sorry, but I don't get this at all. What am I looking at? There is not enough light to make it out. What does the title mean? I don't see how it relates to the picture.

such a good idea, but really let down by the quality of the image. if the lighting was a bit better, or the contrast, or the levels. i think it really needs to be reshot, with a tiny bit of bounce on the underside of the shoes, to show what they are, and framd to avoid the hand? on the right side. keep trying with this, you're onto a good one!

Total absence of focus can work in an abstract shot, this one isn't an abstract.
