Good shot that would be more threatening if it were face-on. |

what a nice picture of a cute spider. It doesn't look fearful though. |

Ugly devil! Is that one of those "jumping spiders"? Great shot. Turns out to be the cliche of the week. I'd place yours as third best spider. This needs a broader depth of field (back end out of focus). 7 Swash |

This is a cool looking spider :) I wonder if you could have cropped him out and made him a larger part of the image? The positioning of this little guy is almost too close to the center of the frame considering his size in the image. I would have tried to create a crop where he was positioned on one of the third line intersections for a little more impact :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

Terrific shot. I like the distance from the subject and great DOF. Spiders tend to provoke fear, but this spider looks almost âjollyâ. (I didnât dock you for Jolly). Great capture and I like the way the background fades off into the distance. |

Excellent macro shot. Those jumping spiders are tiny. I would like to see the photo cropped a little tighter... |

That's a LOT of background for a tiny spider. I wish I could see the fear in this. |

This guy has a really interesting face. The DOF is good, but I would like a tighter crop, especially from the bottom and left sides. |

One day, you will catch one of these spiders in mid leap, in good lighting, with sharp focus, and well framed. |

You need to get closer to that spider and get some more details. If this image was originally larger you should have just cropped off the edges. |

Eeeeeek.. get it away! Nice shot :) |
