man i've tried to take this photo from pretty much this exact spot many times and have never been successful. It always comes out too 'busy' with all the branches hanging and otherwise. I think your editing really strengthened the composition and highlighted the most interesting elements of the frame, i will be making a mental note of this :)

clone duck
curves masking sky for separate adjustment
dodge boat, building & tree hangings
burn sky
desat, duotone, sepia
shadow/highlight adjustment
more dodging trees and lake reflection
contrast boost
sharpen edges with selective tree masking
more selective sharpening on boat, reflections, and building
