Wonder how many comments I'll get making a play on the title. That's my goal for the week - have a somewhat shallow DOF garner me lots of "not really sharp" comments. Let's see how many people fall for it.

Took this shot at 11pm on Sunday. HAHA I wasn't going to submit, but I figured I had such a tacky idea I may as well.

(Maybe I should have called this: "DPC Voting - I Get the Point.")

Prediction - 5.1 lol

Great shot - focus is on tack. ;-) Really nice job.

This is one of your better shots in terms of tone and clarity. Very nice!

Since the subjects are translucent, I would like to see what this is like backlit with perhaps a coloured light. Right now, I think the lighting makes it a bit flat.

Composition: Nice feeling of depth.
Technical: Good focus. Might have tried a different colourisation - maybe a very light whity-blue?
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Nice result, may have changed the lighting slightly.

Good macro, although I am not sure about the yellow tint, maybe this would be better if it had been desaturated slightly?

the focus is very nice. one recommendation i would have would have been to use all different colored tacks. they would have added another dimension of interest to the overall composition.

lighting is kind of harsh....

challenge met, focus appears to be ok but i think the clear plastic gives the impression of blurriness

Frame filled, mission succeeded :-)
I always find that photos of the most simplest and everyday objects can sometimes make you look at them in a completely different way, right? Your image is definitely oversharpened like you mention in the title, so I guess it was your intention. I still like it :-)

That is cool. How did you light this? I like the randomness of the image. And yes you definitly did fill the whole frame :)
