 While my wife and I were on a weekend vacation to Salem. This was shot from the car window on the Mass Turnpike. I was the passenger, she was driving and the sunset was on her side. I ended up shooting thru her window. Then we ended up pulling in to a rest stop but trees were in the way. So I used this.

Colors here are fantastic. Focus is good. Your composition is very good. I will say exceptional photo for having taken it out the car window.

I think you may have done better to avoid the border and let it stand on its own. The border just seems to distract from the beauty of the sunset.

It does meet the challenge. Nicely done.

great sunset! love the colors. i'm curious to know how much this was edited. i'm sure you used levels to bring out the colors, but did you do any color adjustment to make it redder, etc.

Wonderful, contrasty shot. Your timing was excellent on this shot. You have just enough foreground to enhance the beautiful and unsettled cloud formations. 9

Absolutely stunning colors. Love the silhouetted shrubbery. I would lose the border though Still a 9

Watch the border - the red at the bottom draws attention away from the sky and destroys the lovely flow of the clouds. All black would have been less distracting.

Wooooooooooooowwww! That is absolutely spectacular!!!! I've never seen anything like this, truely awesome. 8. You should save this shot and use that background for "artistic" shots (as a background layer, etc) if you are in to that. You could flip it and use the clouds as a red sea with a ship sailing through it, etc. :)
