I really like the color, composition and shapes in this photo. One thing that I think would improve this is if the background was more out of focus. However, you did a good job of lining up a dark area of the background for the yellow flowers.

I like this idea, but I'm not a fan of the set up. The glass in the foreground I find distracting with it's placement. It is intersecting the flowers and pepper mill in an odd way. Maybe moving the glass to one side and filling with wine? Then you get to drink the wine after :)

im not sure what the subject of this photo is....the glass? the flowers?

Lovely focus on the flowers. I like the composition of the glass and flowers, but not sure of the salt and pepper behind the glass

I love the creative use of DOF here, and the lighting. Looking further than the dining table, guessing makes me curious. I would have removed the left glass from the composition, I see only the edge but IMO it would be better w/o it. Just personal stuff, but I would place the flowers a little bit more to the right and the salt-holder little bit more to the left, so the glass would cover no more than the half of each. Just an idea.

Nice setting but a little uninteresting as it is. Just an idea, a couple of people dancing a slow dance in the out of focus backround would be pretty fitting with this shot, at least IMHO. Anyway, technically a well done shot, nice lighting and composition. 6 from me.

Beautiful focus, although I find the background a bit drab and flat.
