Tribute to the work of Jerry Uelsmann. I actually didn't find it that difficult to emulate his style with photoshop but within the rules of dpc (and not doing crazy amounts of arts and crafts) it was nearly impossible. In a way, I am happier with this as it has more of my own feel to it and my creativity was sparked by his surrealistic black and white layered images.

What an interesting image. It is hard for me to really see the details in the hands though. They almost blend too well into the water.

Good idea. The image of the hands is barely perceptible, but I appreciate the concept, effort, and image of the landscape and reflection. Still nice.

This is really good. I love the reflections and the hands. Gray scale is perfect. You even found a good way to include your inspiration in the title.

i cant figure out how the handprints got there. breath on a window? in any case, great contrast, would look better if the island weren't centered.

Very cool. Looking at his work, I would have liked the hands to be a little more prominent in the picture - but nicely done!
