Beautiful colors and bird. Perfect composition, depth of field and focus. I would have voted this at 9 without no reservations.
As for my personal impression, this is of the finest bird images that I have seen. |

| 8 - Very nice capture. Good stop motion. Criticism; difficult, the lily pads more OOF or sharper (difficult), and maybe a fraction more space above the duck (dependent of course) - and I want to say sharper, even 'more' stop motion, but very difficult, plus I am sure that this size doesn't show the detail larger does. Coloring, on the duck especially, very good. Perhaps a variation in cropping. Not sure on the frame. Up to 8 from 7. |

| wow, great capture, the colors of the duck's wing really is set off by the lilly pads. Good focus and DOF. i wouls have liked to see him a bit less cramped up in the corner on the framing, but you get what you get with birds on the wing and this one is a honey. Top ten. |

| This is sublime and perfectly captured. The colors are rich and lush, and the intense expression on the goose (I think its a goose...I know for sure it isn't a deer or a squirrel) adds to the overall effect. Good luck. |

Captured the grace and beauty of the bird very well here. Lilly pads are a bit distracting but are necessary to clarify just where the bird was found.
