This has a nice composition and color balance. I like skies and you did a good job of showing it off.

It's a gorgeous sky and it's a great ground setting, but I'm not sure that the two really compliment each other - if you know what I mean. That may have been what you were going for - I don't know. To me, the sky screams happy, beautiful, warm, loving... And the ground says harsh, stark, cold, unfeeling, and lonely. So, I would probably crop out a large portion of the sky (and perhaps make this two shots - the other with all sky and just a touch of the ground).

maybe i even like it a little more without 1/3 of the top of the sky
i mean the scene is so strong in its plainness
like this alot!!
