I agree with the comments that this was boring, and flat, but frankly that pretty much sums up my opinion of city life :) Thanks 'ratanjit'! Your symmetry comment was on the money. I hadn't noticed it.

This picture comes across as kinda flat. Maybe if you had gotten a macro of the weeds growing between the concrete it would have had more depth.

Not sure about your title there... but your shot shows a different side of city life we wouldn't normally think of.

Very creative. Could be taken for an aerial shot of a much larger area. 6 sjgleah

Nothing in this picture tells me it's is even in a city.

This is one of my favorites. If I use my imagination, it's as if I'm viewing a line of trees from about 10,000 feet in the air. Very cool!

A little sarcastic? Nice enough shot, but I think you should have gotten closer, so I could at least make out the type of weeds growing in the cracks. Photo 8 City 6 total 7

HAHA. Gotta love the humor in the title. I like this shot. It's sort of the opposite of what you see from a plane with all the green and some pavement.

this may be one of the most boring pics that has ever been created.

Humorous! Is this the same person with the GE sense of humor? The title, then the picture - just made me laugh. What a clever one you are.

Could have been a great theme as life struggles to grow thorugh a concrete jungle. However the title"botanical garden" did not attract attention. Also composition is too symmetric to evoke interest though the "probable" concept is fantastic

i think this is a good concept. i wish there wasn't just so much sidewalk...but i guess that just expresses more how concrete is taking over nature. or something.
