Beautiful scene. I like how you have made a contrast between the foreground and the background but perhaps it is too much contrast, making the scene a bit unreal. What if the foreground were a little softer, preserve the contrast but make it less harsh?
As she went to meet him by the lake, in her mind she realized, he would not show.
Nice capture. Very peaceful. I think (opinion) that a crop that cut the tree right down the middle would have added even more feeling to the image, still a nice shot.
