Did heavy post editing on a rather ordinary photo. I dodged the hair & eyes till they looked horrible. Then I did a super strong USM and that made weird things happen to the eyes/mouth. Then I did a faded sepia filter. The original photo looks nothing like this...Thanks Photoshop for allowing me to become a virtual artist. LOL

Photoshop or no...the end result is ominous & yet resigned!

Your work has an enduring quality to it. Timeless even!

The first two in your series ("Twilight" & "Twilight II") evoke similar emotions to Ansel Adams series depicting migrant workers cerca 1940's at best recall.
As only one of hundreds of Ansel Adams "students," this is the highest compliment I can give you.
Honored to know you.

I love it. Love the effect. Photos of this child gets to me everytime no matter what the type of photo. The eyes? Dunno, but she's a great model in the sense that she seems to be a real natural about it.

Keep them coming and bravo.

Kind of creepy. I might clone out the earrings just to make her more "ordinary." Great post editing. Love the dark brooding feeling and with her looming over you, she has a powerful sense! Another good one, my friend.
