Thanks everyone for they're comments! Regarding the building and how it seems like it's falling... I couldn't do anything about it, the street its not completely horizontal, so it was the hydrant or the building; and sorry I couldn't get the hole building, it was to tall and I was already on the floor... : (

Great contrast of color AND size. The reflections are a great touch.

Good use of color and depth.

Really great colors. I wish you could get the building staright to the frame, but know you can't do so perfectly -- however, it still appears that ther photo has been rotated clockwise a bit. You may not be able to get the side of the building to be vertical, but you can get the building to fall along the horizontal plane. I think it needs to be rotated a little counter-clockwise. Like how the cloud reflections in the building look like they're logical extensions of the clouds behind it. Good shot.

I love the shot, and the title.

Interesting point of view!

very nice shot and great depth of field :) I wonder if it would have been possible to get the top of the building in the image? Good work! = 9 - jmsetzler

Funky hydrant, very nicely done. Was there something ugly at the top of the building? (A. Retentive comment about cropping, aka NIT) Vivid colors!

But does this show me what it is like to live in a city? Or take part in events of city life?

i like it! good juxta position....

Nice perpective. Beautiful color. I love the angle you took this from.

I would have liked it better if the top of the building had not been cropped. But a cool shot nontheless.

excelent colors,.. and a great angle... ths shot says allot.

Great use of color. The building looks like it's falling over though. It's hard to keep the horizon level in a shot like this, but it's worth the effort :)

I like the colors and juxtaposition. The tilting building is all that bothers me here. Great sky.
06/24/2002 11:47:00 PM
Good idea. Very strong colors and powerful composition.

Great colors and dof. Two wishes...1) I wish the electric company would move that green box 2) I wish the building in the background was on a crooked foundation so it and the hydrant would be standing at the same angle. 9

An interesting contrast of shapes.
06/24/2002 07:43:00 PM
Wonderful.

Nice idea - perfect execution. Good framing.
06/24/2002 06:29:00 PM
I like it - the title too (witty) I was going to do a USPS mail box, but this is better. Great Job!
06/24/2002 06:21:00 PM
I like the color mixture
06/24/2002 05:38:00 PM
the building looks like it is leaning just a bit - I am not sure if rotating it would have caused the fire hydrant to lean instead though. nice colors - I like the clouds reflected in the glass
06/24/2002 03:57:00 PM
Is that the modern leaning tower of Piza?
06/24/2002 03:33:00 PM
Sorry the top of the building was cut off. Darn,.. but this is still a fun interesting shot. Kee.
06/24/2002 09:48:00 AM
The building isn't straight. A slight rotate would fix that. However, this is signs of city life.
06/24/2002 09:00:00 AM
kinda funny how it seems that the fire hydrant stands up straight, while the building is kinda off balance...
06/24/2002 08:26:00 AM
wow that building almost blends into the sky
