*Critique Club*

I see you registered, submitted this pic the same day, checked the box to receive a detailed critique and haven't been back since to see what feedback you received. This leads me to believe that you don't really care much, or are possibly out of town? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe you are just unable to check up on the image. In that instance, I'd give you a detailed critique, however, you offered NO details what so ever on what you were trying to accomplish with this image. *sigh* Therefor, I can only offer my critique based upon my own personal opinion of the photo.
Now, on to the photo...
As others have stated, the image is very small (only 320x220. This makes it difficult to really see what's going on in the photo. I'd say your best bet would be to use the 640 size limit to your advantage and make your image a bit larger so we can see the details.
That being said, I do not see the connection to the challenge. I am not afraid when looking at this photo. I do not feel the fear of love when I look at this image. Some people are afraid of love, yes, but the challenge was to make the viewer feel the fear. Not feelin it.
Focus, from what I can see from the tiny image is soft. Would like a crisper focus to show more detail. This could be a result of what appears to be poor lighting. Did you just walk outside flash on and shoot?
This looks like a last minute rushed entry, and unfortunately worthy of the score it received.
My last bit of advice would be if you truely are interested in photography and improving your skills, take your time with the images. Really think about what the image means to you and the people viewing it.

Image is a bit small & I'm not sure what it is supposed to be.

Doesn't fit into challenge topic as no fear is shown

I truly hope you don't have a phobia of love - that would be sad. A good concept, but the coloring is a bit odd. I also wish the photo itself was larger. Closer to the 640 maximum pixels allowed.

I don't get this one. Also for a higher score make sure at least one edge = 640 pixels.

Too small and hard to see

I gave a 4 on this. I don't see the phobia or anything that would provoke phobia to me. Well, maybe it's because some people are terrified of love. Love is beautiful, and it's creative what you made out of snow, so that's how I gave you 3 points, and another 1 point for the effort of placing this shot in the challenge. Normally, small photos won't score very well, so if you have the chance try using the 640 pixels. The composition isn't great in the shot, and it's still rather grainy. Try not to use the camera flash, it hurts the shot too much.

First up - I'm not really getting any sense of fear or phobia from this image. Generally a positive concept in fact. What exactly are you trying to convey?

Also, its a good idea to make use of the full dimensions allowed by DPC

Did you take this with your mobile?

What is the phobia represented here?
